Splitboard - Ausbildung

We meet in Sedrun at the Sportshop der Snowbaordschule Sägerei. After coffee and croissants we will have an introduction to avalanche awareness. We will learn how to interpret the avalanche bulletin correctly, the basics of 3x3. Then you will be equipped with the necessary material (splitboard - avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel) under the expert advice of Daniel Schmid.

FREERIDE - TRAINING incl. LAWINEN INTRO

In the course of 17 / 18 Ferbuar 2022, the focus is designed for freeride. After the theoretical introduction we will move to the mountain lift Cuolm da Vi. Around the Piz Ault we will learn to recognize the danger signs, to ski the powder slopes in a tactically sensible way and to deal with the residual risk. Where is the hottest line? Is it also safe? How can we be smart to ski the slope safely and enjoyably? Exactly such questions and decisions we learn to make and implement in the terrain. On the second day we will climb up to Ricthung Brunnigletscher, Péz da Strem or to Piz Tgietschen with the help of lifts and ski again endless wide powder slopes. You are guaranteed to have an eventful weekend.

TOURING TRAINING - SPLITBOARD incl. LAWINEN INTRO

After the theoretical introduction in the sports store we take the train to the Oberalp pass. Now you can experience for the first time how it is to be on the road with a splitboard. We go as far as we come, the focus is on the experience and the training. Of course we will also integrate a great downhill. Earn your turns is our moto, but the balance should always be positive!
Training contents are: Introduction to splitboarding, handling of the equipment (including converting from running to skiing and vice versa), introduction to avalanche transceiver (avalanche transceiver), ascent techniques, etc.
On the second day we plan a splitboard tour. Around Sedrun there are many very rewarding splitboard possibilities, which offer fantastic descents. Come along and learn from the pros.
