In summer 2012, an artificial climbing garden for families was set up on the dam behind Panix / Pigniu. On the initiative of the local communities and the Reiver Surselva tourism promotion campaign, perfectly secured and up to 35m long routes were created in the sloping concrete wall. Due to the construction as an equilibrium dam, the terrain is never vertical or overhanging (about 55 degrees below, about 80 degrees above).

The routes are perfectly equipped with drilling hooks. In the long routes up to 18 express slings and at least 70m of rope are required. After max. 28m there is also an intermediate stand, from which a 60m long rope reaches the ground again. In the routes on the right part of the wall, a 40m rope is sufficient.

The routes require clean weight shifting like plate climbing rather than athletic pulling.

Special "safety regulations and disclaimer" and a "registration obligation" apply to the use of the climbing wall!

The use is free for private individuals, commercially guided groups can use the climbing wall for a fee!
